With hunger remaining a serious problem in Central and Eastern North Carolina, the Raleigh Division of Lennar is hosting a food bank on Saturday, November 14th at two of its Triangle communities to benefit the Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina. Area residents can stop by Lennar’s StoneWater community in Cary or Lennar’s Glenwood Station community in Raleigh and drop off items that will help the food bank ensure they have the needed supply to get through the holiday season. Items needed the most include: canned meats, peanut butter, cereal, canned fruits and vegetables, rice, pasta, dried beans, hygiene products, infant products and paper products such as toilet paper and paper towels. Raleigh’s “The Hit Music Channel” G105 will be onsite at Lennar’s Glenwood Station from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. For more information, call Lennar at 888-209-2811.
