York County’s housing market is remembering how it feels to be wanted, to be fought over. That’s probably frustrating to would-be buyers who find houses have sold before they even show up for a viewing appointment. But it must feel good for those who work in a market where homes were sitting for months without a nibble. The speed at which homes are selling is one indication that the market is finding its confidence after an economic recession left it wounded, said Steve Kohr, president of the York County Builders Association. “I think everyone has been waiting so long to do something that they’re ready to sell, they’re ready to buy,” he said. “They were waiting because of the uncertainty with economy and investments.
