The story of 6137 Lake Teravista Drive

Village Builders Austin

We are going on a little trip. Feel free to use your imagination. Imagine…you are driving around the master planned community of Teravista in Georgetown, TX; you stumble upon a Village Builders completed new home with an open house sign out front. You think, huh, this is a really nice looking front entrance. It intrigues you enough to take a quick peek.

What catches your eye is the front of the home, it has a turret! The turret blends seamlessly into the rest of the home, making it stand out from the rest. You feel like you are about to enter a modern day 1 story castle. As you enter through the homes courtyard, you start to picture yourself having a cup of coffee, reading the morning paper while your Boston Terrier, George, is at your feet sunning himself. As you walk up to the front door, this gorgeous mahogany 8 foot tall door falls right along with the “my home is my castle” theme. You stand inside the rotunda foyer, gazing up at the 19ft ceilings, window accents allowing the sun to brighten the area and showcase an art niche and beautiful hardwood floors. It is at this moment you’ll see the hardwood floors are throughout. You are getting more and more excited to discover what else this home has to offer.

As you walk to the left of the rotunda, a hallway leads you into the three bedrooms. You take a mental note that the first two bedrooms share a full bathroom. You fall in love with the dark cabinets, the granite countertops and the framed archway into the tub and shower. The third bedroom didn’t disappoint with an en suite bathroom featuring a large shower. What a perfect set up for your guests! After all, a queen that has a castle needs a guest room.

Giggling to yourself, you head toward the other side of the home, you take a quick peek into the 3 car tandem garage and notice the home came with a tankless water heater and is pre-plumb for a water softener unit. You ask yourself, has Village Builders thought of everything? Heading back inside, you do a looksee in the laundry room and notice the cabinets match the rest of the home and there is a hook up for a refrigerator.

Then you see it, the center of all castles…the kitchen. The gas cooktop, the built in oven, the gorgeous curved island, beautiful pendants, stone backsplash, a place for your wine. Village Builders has thought of everything. It is the perfect centerpiece overlooking the family and formal dining room; the crown moulding and tray ceiling adding the regal feel of the home. As you look around, you immediately notice an outdoor kitchen. Oh my! Stepping out onto the oversize patio, you suddenly imagine George running with the kids in the backyard. Back inside, you can’t wait to see the master suite.

Walking into the master suite, you continue to see the details. Crown moulding, tray ceiling, bay windows with window seating. A set of double doors lead you into the master bath sanctuary. A garden tub, separate vanities, large shower, a walk in closet; it is perfect.
As you walk out of the Shelburne floor plan from Village Builders, you are impressed. Village Builders took a 2,548 sqft space and designed it into a home ready to be your castle.
