Lennar plans its first Johns Island Community

Lennar Charleston

Lennar, one of Charleston’s largest and fastest-growing homebuilders, has purchased and is poised to take over development and homebuilding operations of Stonoview, Johns Island’s most prestigious waterfront neighborhood.

Lennar’s Coastal Carolinas Division President Jason Byham says, “If you have not yet seen Stonoview, it is a stunning community! Brock Built Homes did an incredible job of establishing Stonoview as the premier place to live on Johns Island and we look forward to building on that success and excitement. With the preservation of hundreds of grand trees, the homes’ unique and distinguished architecture, the community’s deepwater dock and sundeck, and expansive views of the Stono River, there is truly no better place to live.”

This picturesque waterfront community will offer more than 300 home sites, many of which offer newly-designed floor plans that add to the community’s charm. Lennar anticipates these homes ranging from 2,000 – 3,500 square feet with high-end features like shiplap, large porches, gourmet kitchens, home automation packages, and more. Lennar plans to complement the community’s existing pavilion style dock and boat slips with a waterfront park, walking trails, a pool, tennis courts, and boat storage.

Would this be open to the public or only residents of Stonoview?
