Grand Central Park Hosts Brews and Barbeque Event

Spring is officially here in Houston. This season kicks off some of the biggest festivals and celebrations. With abounding options, there’s something for everyone within the greater Houston area like the Brews and BBQ event in Grand Central Park in Conroe, Texas. Hosted by the Johnson Development Company, the event is free admission and offers food and fun for a good cause. It takes place on Saturday, April 13th from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Deer Lake Pavilion in Conroe on Camp Strake Road.

All proceeds will go the Henry’s Home Horse & Human Sanctuary, which is located in Grand Central Park. The catered, barbecue lunch will cost $10 and can be pre-purchased or paid for with cash at the door. Guests will enjoy a live musical performance by the Joe Bailey Band. The festivities include pony rides, bull rides, skee ball, inflatables and a giant yard pong. Guests will have the opportunity to win various raffled prizes which will be drawn at the event. Alcohol also will be made available for purchase. Residents and prospective homebuyers can enjoy all the fun for free. Food tickets can be purchased here.
